Overview

The workshop focuses on what SharePoint 2016 or O365 SharePoint Online can do for your company strategically and how to employ an ongoing method to identify those activities that are not just doable, but also worth doing (getting your best bang for the buck). We provide assistance with strategy planning using the tools in our SIMPLE method toolkit, to establish your business needs, and map them to SharePoint. Workshops use demos of our existing systems to demonstrate how portals, collaboration, search, business forms, content management, business intelligence and workflow can be used. 

Workshop Objectives

Objectives typically include mapping business goals to SharePoint features. How to get the most value from SharePoint for your organization's unique needs to improve or enhance current business operations. The workshop focuses on what SharePoint can do for your company and what to do next to bring your portal project to the next step. 

Format

Work begins with remote analysis and documentation of your existing SharePoint. Surveys and other components from our SIMPLE portal design method are sent to participants to gain technical and non-technical perspectives. Then senior architects come on-site to conduct facilitated discussions to explore current issues and problems, interview staff and stakeholders, and review your document management systems and business processes. We then assist with clarifying your business goals as they map to SharePoint technologies using our Six Month Plus method to build a roadmap plan.

Deliverables

Documentation of your current SharePoint report, Strategic Goals report, Gap Analysis report, and Roadmap plan to get there.
